Hey, I’m Kella!

My career as a stylist started in 2009 in a salon and as the years went by I had the honor of joining Joanna here at Powder Me Pretty in 2015.

Creating hairstyles and doing makeup on beautiful canvases is a dream job! This opportunity gave me the freedom of staying at home to raise the two beautiful children my husband Jason and I have been blessed with. Knowing how important family is and what it does for a person's life makes my job that much more rewarding.

Being a part of two lives coming together to start their own family is a blessing in and of itself and to be the one who makes a bride, her family and her bridal party feel beautiful and special on one of the most important days of her life is an honor! Living in the Blue Ridge Mountains is one of the many blessings I have been given and to see all of these beautiful weddings take place here is just amazing! 

As far as our family goes, we enjoy riding around in my husband's Jeep, going to church and serving together in our community, homeschooling, spending time with our extended family, traveling and just being together in our beautiful home.

Some of my favorite things include Fall Weather and seeing the mountains burst in color, watching my children succeed in anything they put their heart and soul into, talking and rocking on the back porch drinking a cup of coffee with my husband and growing in our relationship! Life is a gift and I am grateful for the one I am living!
